NOOSE / Los Santos Police Department Boxville by Monkeypolice188Ģ. No impossible mission will turn into a circus of death with this van - unless you're working with clowns. Boxville, with its ample space, provided enough space for all the equipment said nerd needed in an unhinged state like San Andreas where the shit hits the fan on a daily basis and the people you're supposed to guide had their brains affected by one too many shots before the job. Don your helmet, start up the van and get some action no montage will provide.įirst rule of armed confontation - never go in without a divine voice guiding your soul, or at least a nerd on the comms telling you things you've heard and experienced a thousand times before. Perfect choice for transporting half-a-dozen sweaty hotshot gunslingers shooting first, asking questions never, thanks to its seemingly endless space in the back. Before armored, blank-stared vans came, there were Boxvilles. Believe it or not, these things didn't always carry letters the gov't doesn't even bother interecepting nowadays. Whilst not essential for 100% completion, Burglary Missions are helpful in two ways. One second you think it's just a postal truck approaching you, and the next thing you see is an awkwardly-dressed battalion of helmet-wearing troops going postal on your friends for some minor-major law violation. Follow the marker on your mini-map and you'll often reach a back alley where you'll need to park the van inside a garage. Once you've grabbed all you can, you must drive the van to a lockup to secure the goods and complete the activity. You usually have more than enough time to get most of the crates, but if for one reason or another your time is short do not risk getting caught for the last one or two things. You'll want to make sure that you move very slowly as you head out to the van. Picking up the crate forces you into standing, and therefore you are far more susceptible to making noise. You are looking for items to carry out to the van one by one these items (in the introduction mission) will be telegraphed by both a green arrow and a marker on the mini-map, as detailed in the image above. Whilst inside the house, crouching is recommended. As you would expect, you need to complete your burglary before the timer runs out, and ensure that the noise meter does NOT reach maximum or you will disturb and eventually wake the inhabitant, failing the activity. You will notice a timer counting down until sunrise and a noise meter. There will always be an inhabitant in the house resting, requiring you to keep noise to a minimum. With the Boxville acquired, you'll notice many houses now have a yellow arrow in front of their door: these are your potential robbery targets.Ĭhoose a house to enter and the activity begins properly. As you exit the freeway heading southeast in Pilgrim, Las Venturas, there will be a van tucked behind the nearest building.Across the road from the fire station in Doherty, San Fierro in a narrow alleyway (look for a yellow building).Across the road from the gym in Ganton, near where Denise lives. In free roam, this vehicle can be found in 3 locations: To even begin the activity, you will need a Black Boxville van (the vehicle provided during 'Home Invasion'). Like many side missions/activities in San Andreas, you can begin Burglar Missions from the get-go, though you are most likely to first encounter the Burglar activity during the Ryder mission 'Home Invasion'.ĭuring the mission, you will be introduced to the mechanics of the activity mainly revolving around time and noise management.
